I was watching a gallery about the 2008 USA Origami convention and I found a picture of some modular models all of them made with the same unit. And I was wondering if anyone here knows where can I learn it.

Well... since i haven't got much help on this topic, then I think I might change the question:
Does anyone knows a unit similar to the sonobe unit, (I don't want a variation of it I just want one that has the same versatility, I mean that I can easily make sonobe`s unit models with it) but with a better locking mechanism so that the model don`t tears apart as the sobe models do.
